Arlington

There is a part of Route 66 in Missouri that was a little late to the party. It was one of the last areas that had its road paved, but that was short-lived as it would eventually be abandoned into what is now more or less a ghost town where 20 souls remain.

Twenty years ago today  9-year old Amber Hagerman got on her bicycle in Arlington, Texas like any other 9-year old would.  The difference was Amber never made it home. Her body was found a few days later some three miles away in a creek with her throat slashed. The killer has never been found.
