Wild Tornado Event Possible in Missouri & Illinois Next Week
If you don't like the weather in Missouri and Illinois, just wait a few minutes and it's almost certain to change. That looks to be true early next week as there is a strong tornadic event that models are showing is possible for both Missouri and Illinois.
The Storm Prediction Center from NOAA has a probability map which now shows what may be a volatile Monday and Tuesday for large parts of both Missouri and Illinois.

That will bring with it a good chance for strong tornadoes within that yellow risk area on the map plus additional strong winds and maybe another major hail event.
The National Weather Service in St. Louis is also warning of a possible Monday/Tuesday severe weather event although they emphasize storm strength is uncertain at this point.
The Tornado Alley Weather Center on Facebook seems to agree Missouri and Illinois are in the danger zone for Monday and Tuesday.
We're too many days out for their to be an official forecast or advisory, but just know that early next week (especially Monday and Tuesday) both Missouri and Illinois could be very stormy. Make sure to pay special attention to any warnings or advisories as next week begins.
