Racing at Quincy Raceways Starts Early This Sunday

Anyone who knows me, knows I am not the biggest racing fan out there but when I saw this news release I thought I would at least make sure that my friends who are racing fans are  aware of a starting time change at Quincy Raceways.  My good friend Jack Walbring provided this news release about the change:

Quincy Raceways will be instituting a new starting time starting this Sunday August 26 due to school being back in session. The Pit Gates will open at 2:30, Grandstands at 4:00, Drivers Registration Ends at 4:30, Drivers Meeting at 4:30, Hot Laps at 4:45 and Racing at 5:30pm. Remember that starting this Sunday, August 26, Quincy Raceways will be instituting a new qualifying procedure for the Miller Lite UMP Modifieds and the UMP Late Models. Details may be found on the Quincy Raceways Facebook page or at the Quincy Raceways Website at www.quincyraceways.com.
