THe cost per week is $100 for members and $125 for non-members, the Quincy Family YMCA is launching this new remote learning program for elementary school-aged kids from grades K-6th. The goal is to keep kids engaged with their school through daily opportunities.

As long as the school offers an online curriculum, kids may attend this new program at the YMCA. The YMCA will offer a safe work environment for students to they can follow along with the curriculum that is provided to them by the schools. After kids are done with their daily assignments, they will then have the opportunity for homework assistance, snacks, and daily activities.

This really is a great opportunity of parents might be struggling with the decision to let their kids go to school or keep them home. Some parents don't have many options if they both work, so this remote learning program might be the answer for many families.

When social distancing is achieved, students will not have to wear a mask inside the YMCA, however they are to be worn when entering and leaving the facility. Spots are limited, for more information you can call 217-222-9622 or email ymca@quincyymca.net.
