If you are a parent out there looking for safe fun ways to get the kids a full Halloween experience even in this pandemic ridden year, you should definitely mark your calendars for this Saturday's Quincy Cops Care Trunk OR Treat hosted by Vancil Performing Arts.

In a Facebook event page hosted by Vancil Performing Arts called Quincy Cops Care Trunk OR Treat, they say...

"Bring your ghouls & goblins out for a FUN & SAFE Halloween event that gives back to our community! Price of admission- monetary donation for Quincy Cops Care food drive Directions- parking available on Ohio & S 8th streets. Enter lot from Ohio St between 8th & 9th (between Vancil Dance & Music studios)."

This event starts Saturday, October 31st at 2pm and goes until 5pm, or while supplies last! They also go on to say that they will be doing everything in their power to make this a completely fun and safe event, including following all COVID-19 guidelines, which includes social distancing, temperature checks, mask wearing, as well as sanitation of hands and surfaces.

This certainly sounds like the perfect family fun safe way to experience Halloween in this year thrown off by the COVID-19 pandemic. I also love that this event is supporting the Quincy Cops Care Food Drive, at a time when food donations are needed most it is great to see events like this stepping up to help give back!
