Principals Announced For the New QPS K-5 Elementary Schools

In a newsletter sent at to all Quincy Public School parents, the community is introduced to the new principals of the five new elementary schools.

QPS' Learning Community, which was set up to help students and parents transition to the new elementary schools, sent out the newsletter. Parents should expect a newsletter every month through the end of the year, which will be archived on the Quincy Public School website under "New Buildings Program."

In the first edition, we are introduced to the five principals that will be running the new elementary schools.

Principal Chrissy Cox: Harrison Street Site

Principal Cindy Crow: 12th Street Site

Principal Melanie Schrand: 48th & Columbus Road Site

Principal Jim Sohn: Baldwin Site

Principal Brian Trowbridge: Monroe Site

If you are still unsure as to where your child will be headed to school, there will be a Boundary Advisory Task Force (BATF) meeting tonight (Thursday) at the Quincy Community Room from 6pm-8pm. The public is invited to share their thoughts, get their questions answered, and look at the potential boundary lines of the new elementary schools.
