Paul McCartney can be seen in a clip from his “Carpool Karaoke” segment, recorded in Liverpool last week for an upcoming edition of The Late Late Show With James Corden.

The pair drove round McCartney’s hometown while singing the Beatles’ 1965 classic “Drive My Car.” You can watch the clip below.

The full segment is to be broadcast this week during the show’s residency in London, with the Foo Fighters among the previously confirmed guests. As part of his day in Liverpool, McCartney performed an intimate concert in a city pub and premiered a new song called “Come Home to You,” telling the audience, “This hasn't been released yet. ... It's the first time we played it for anybody.”

While the rumor that McCartney would release his first new album since 2013 last week proved unfounded, he’s continued to tease the project. After fans speculated that obscured lettering appeared to spell out "Egypt Station," he confirmed that by releasing a 10-second video revealing the words in full, which you can see below.

"Egypt Station" is the name of a painting McCartney previously created.

In January, he said during an online Q&A that he would "probably be putting out a new album. So, I’d like that to be something I really love and then hopefully the fans will love it too! We’re putting the finishing touches to it now… So, I would like to achieve making that a really great album. Fingers crossed! That’s not what it’s called, but fingers crossed! It could be … it could be the new album title!”
