If you thought weather in Missouri and Illinois has been strange so far in 2024, wait until you see what is about to happen later in November based on new computer models which show a major weather pattern shift is about to take place.

Of all the internet weather experts, I tend to follow Ryan Hall of Ryan Hall Y'all on YouTube the closest. He tends to not be sensational and doesn't tend to exaggerate predictions for the sake of clicks and that's likely why he currently has over 2.29 million followers.

Ryan has just shared two dates to watch for where Missouri and Illinois could see some wild weather. First on or about November 19, there is a chance that a front could (key word "could") bring in some severe weather including thunderstorms impacting Missouri and Illinois that day.

Then, on November 25, that's when Ryan believes that a major weather pattern shift will take place where more cold air will begin to make its way southward.

I would highly advise watching Ryan Hall's video as he does a better job of explaining what might happen than I can.

In a nutshell, watch out for several potential days of severe weather just after the middle of November then a distinct weather pattern change during Thanksgiving week. I'll emphasize what he did, too, and that's the fact that these computer models are still looking way into the future and one or two variables changing could change the entire outlook. However, I've learned over the decades in Missouri and Illinois to prepare for and expect the unexpected. You'll rarely be disappointed.
