The fact is that the man didn't do anything wrong, but a herd of bison in Missouri didn't care about that. No, when he got close, they decided to chase him and I'm pretty sure he regrets it now.

This is a fun short video shared by a man on the Go Play Outside YouTube channel. He was visiting Prairie State Park which is located in Barton County, Missouri. It's home to probably the most famous bison herd in Missouri and you can walk fairly close to them. The question is how close is too close? Let's find out.

My family has visited Yellowstone National Park twice and bison roam freely there, too. I lost track of how many times people would get up close with the bison and many get hurt doing so as the National Park Service mentions. The bison herd in Prairie State Park in Missouri is fairly mellow, but they are still wild animals with a mind of their own.

This man didn't do anything wrong and in my opinion was never too close. It's probably just coincidence that the herd headed his way after he passed. Still, as he mentions in his video, being chased by bison will certainly cause your blood pressure to rise for sure. I do believe though that it's the best kind of blood pressure rise you can get in Missouri. Bison for the win.
