Last Down By the River of 2020

This Friday, August 21, marks the last Down By the River concert of 2020 in Hannibal. Madd Hoss Jackson takes the stage tonight as the curtain closes on a shortened 2020 season.

The Hannibal Y Men's Club has sponsored this event for several years and it's hugely popular, drawing a big regional crowd downtown every third Thursday of the month.  Things got much more complicated this year because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The concerts got a late start, and the club shortened the season to just three DBTR events.

Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Friday at the Y Men's Pavillion in the 100 block of Hill Street in Historic Downtown Hannibal. Food will be available for purchase along with a wide variety of alcoholic beverages. The event ends at 10:00 p.m.
