REPORTS: Hy-Vee Permanently Closing 3 Iowa Locations June 23

I certainly did not expect this, but now I've seen multiple reports confirm that Hy-Vee is about to permanently close 3 locations in Iowa as of June 23.

I just came across this report from Progressive Grocer and also confirmed by Drug Store News saying that Hy-Vee will be closing 3 Iowa locations at the following addresses.

Hy-Vee, 3019 Rockingham Rd, Davenport, IA 52802

Hy-Vee, 2181 Logan Ave, Waterloo, IA 50703

Hy-Vee, 1556 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402

Both reports say that Hy-Vee decided to close these 3 locations on June 23 due to store performance misses. There are also many outreaches that Hy-Vee will reportedly do involving free delivery to those who have depended on pharmacies in those stores and grocery delivery also. The stories say that Hy-Vee is also contributing additional resources to food banks in all 3 Iowa locations to help those in need.
