I remember someone telling me when I was younger that you can never outrun the radar and the radios of a Missouri State Highway Patrol officer. You can now update that saying to the modern era by adding that you can't outrun flock cameras either as they were just put to use in nabbing an alleged casino thief.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol just shared this update on their social media places about an alleged casino thief and their method of capture.

In case you can't see the text of their update on your device, here's the short version. The Missouri State Police were notified of a theft of over $150,000 from the St. Jo Frontier Casino in St. Joseph, Missouri. They learned what the vehicle was that the suspects were driving and entered that into the FLOCK camera system. Not long afterward, the vehicle was located on US 36. Troopers in that area were notified and tracked the vehicle down and requested a warrant to search the vehicle which they were given. In that search, they found more than $150,000.

"The vehicle’s occupants, Charles E. Blaisdell, 42, St. Joseph, MO, and Heaven L.R. Roberts, 21, St. Joseph, MO, were arrested by the Macon County Sheriff’s Office and placed on a 24-hour hold, pending the application of formal charges. On October 25, 2026, the Buchanan County Prosecuting Attorney formally charged Blaisdell and Roberts each with one count of Receiving Stolen Property (class D felony). Both are being held on $150,000.00 bond."

Many have asked in the comments of the Missouri State Highway Patrol update if these alleged casino bandits could have been caught without the use of FLOCK cameras. I'm no technology or law enforcement expert, but you'd think having cameras track down that specific vehicle would have greatly expedited the investigation and capture.
