I can't say whether these experts are right or wrong because I have never been to this theme park. But from what I've been told is one of the best places to visit. So why is this popular Missouri theme park on the worst tourist traps list for 2024?

As we start to plan our summer vacation Cheapism just listed the 50 worst tourist traps in every state and they claim that Silver Dollar City in Branson is not worth the hype.

As I mentioned earlier, I've never been to Silver Dollar City, but everyone that I've talked that has said it's one of the best theme parks to visit. Even USA Today ranked the western theme park as one of the best in the nation.

So why did the experts at Cheapism say Silver Dollar City wasn't worth the visit? Well, they say most of the park is not kid-friendly it leans towards the young adults and adults who like coasters. Plus, for some reason, they think it's not laid out well and overpriced.

What isn't overpriced these days? Of course, their opinion is subjective, but I can honestly say from everything that I've been told Silver Dollar City is one of the best places to visit. So, if you're planning a summer vacation to Branson don't let these experts talk you out of going to the theme park.

Everyone has an opinion, but in this case, I feel like this one is a total failure.
