When you think of Chicago I am sure you think about the food, music, buildings, shopping, Wrigley Field, and Navy Pier. All fine things in the Windy City, but one is considered a tourist trap according to Love Exploreing.
Navy Pier.
One of the most popular sites in the entire city is on the list of 15 worst tourist traps in America. But how? You have the giant Ferris Wheel, the Children's Museum, the beautiful walkway looking out into the lake, shopping, restaurants, and fireworks throughout the summer.
Maybe if you live in Chicago it may not be as big of a deal as a tourist, but I feel like it's one of those places that is a must-see (even if it's just once) to say that you experienced it.

I have a hard time agreeing with these "experts." I love Navy Pier. On a beautiful summer day, sure it can be crowded, but if you're lucky enough to find a spot you can take in all of the beauty that is around you.

Yes, it can get overcrowded, but that aside it really is a wonder to see and visit.
