Missouri has a lot to be proud of on Sunday, February 9 and it's not just the Kansas City Chiefs I'm talking about. It's been confirmed that 3 Missouri shelter dogs will also be on national television in the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet.

The Humane Society of Missouri just announced this fun news that 3 of their animals had caught the eye of the producers on Animal Planet and would be featured in their annual Puppy Bowl which will happen at the same time as that other rather famous football game.

Here are the 3 that were chosen.

Astro on the left, Charlotte in the middle and Mardipaw on the right.

Astro and Charlotte are residents at the Macklind Avenue shelter while Mardipaw comes from their Maryland Heights facility.

Charlotte is up for a prestigious award as she's currently up for "Most Popular" which is being voted on now at Animal Planet. It will be "Team Ruff" vs "Team Fluff". You can see these 3 Missouri dogs represent the state starting at 1pm local time on Sunday, February 9, 2025 just a few hours before we cheer on that other Missouri team featuring Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Coach Reid.
