Yelp Says This Illinois Roadside Attraction is Most Outrageous

The best attractions are those you come across that are not planned to see. However, there is one attraction in Illinois that is a must-see to believe.

Casey, Illinois may be a small town, but it's known for having some of the largest attractions. For example, the largest mailbox, the largest golf club, or the world's largest pitchfork. There is one attraction though that according to Yelp, is the most outrageous.

The World's Largest Rocking Chair

Yelp claims that the most outrageous roadside attraction in Missouri is alongside the historic Route 66. The world's largest rocking chair is something you just have to see to believe. Several reviews claim that it's one of the best attractions to visit.

This attraction is so large it's in the Guinness Book of World Records. Back in 2015, a representative from Guinness Records told Casey town leaders that for this to be considered the world's largest rocking chair it had to rock...so creator Jim Bolin made it do just that.

If you're finding yourself taking a trip on the historic road Route 66 you may want to put Casey, Illinois on your radar. It seems those who visit the small town have the time of their lives looking at these large attractions.

Highway 36 is also known as The Way of American Genius, and there are a lot of geniuses along this highway. Each town along the way is known for some invention or home to someone famous.
