Illinois State Police Make Shocking (and Hilarious) Admission On Facebook
Ever see those broken down cars on the side of the road and think "man, that sucks." Here's a hint for ya: Next time you see one, you might want to slow down a bit.
According to their Facebook Page, The Illinois State Police (District 10) admitted that sometimes those broken down cars aren't broken down at all. Instead, officers will sit in them and clock drivers and relay any speedy offenders to another officer down the road.
They get your car color, make, and model and before you know it, you're getting pulled over. Troopers are waiting on off ramps to getcha!
I'll definitely be taking this into consideration next time I find myself going a little too heavy on the gas pedal.
The moral of this story is DON'T SPEED! You never know who's watching you.
