Video Shows Baseball-Sized Hail Slamming a Small Missouri Town

Weather in Missouri has been wild already in 2024 and violent storms continue to pound the middle of America as new video shows baseball-sized hail slamming a yard in a small Missouri town.

I just saw this new video shared on the Missouri sub-Reddit showing the most recent hailstorm that impacted Hillsboro, Missouri. Only an insurance adjustor would enjoy watching trees, yards and homes get hit with baseball-sized hail.

Hillsboro, Missouri is located south of Saint Louis and has a tiny population of just barely over 3,400. Hail Maps shows there were over 30,000 reports of hail damage over this part of Missouri extending into Illinois.

This video captured during the same storm shows hail that assaulted the Sullivan, Missouri area.

This series of severe storm systems that seem to be rolling through Missouri one after another don't show any signs of stopping soon. Yet another model shows the potential of severe weather in Missouri (including hail, of course) as early as next week.
