The Quincy Family YMCA will be holding their annual Healthy Kids Day this Saturday, and everyone is invited to attend.

There will be bounce houses, games, face painting, demonstrations, youth activities and vendors to motivate and teach families how to be healthy. I am always trying to teach my girls to eat healthy, get exercise, and have fun, this is a great event to bring the family and teach your kiddos how to live healthy.

Some of the fun events that will be taking place will be family pound (which is my new exercise that I love) from 11:00 am - 11:30 am, family yoga from 11:30 am - 12:00 pm, and Magician Steve Cirto from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

The event is free and the first 90 kids will get a free t-shirt. plus there will be a few giveaways like bike helmets and booster seats. Healthy Kids Day will start at 10 am and runs until 2 pm. Families are also encourage to take what they learn on healthy kids day and keep the lessons going at home. For more information on healthy kids day contact Cristy Fuller at  222-9622, ext. 225, or check out The Quincy Family YMCA website and Facebook page.
