If you would like to register your team for this years Gus Macker tournament which is held on May 29-30 here in Quincy CLICK HERE!
Registration of your team costs $160 according to the Gus Macker website, and they go on to say that the tournament will follow all state and local health and safety guidelines of whichever city they are in.
I love to see that the deadline has been extended, and that they are willing to go to 300 teams for this event. Gus Macker has been a part of this city for decades and it certainly deserves a big successful send off! Especially because 2020 was supposed to be the final year of the tournament but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it's fantastic to see Gus Macker come back to Quincy for this final weekend tournament. Because I haven't lived here very long I never got the chance to participate in Gus Macker but I know may people who have and are going to be really sad to see this legendary Quincy tradition come to an end.
