If you believe there's nothing quite like seeing a movie on the big screen, you probably should go ahead and grab your popcorn as the biggest screen ever is on its way to Illinois.

I saw Patch share the news that a Super EMAX screen is coming to a theater in Batavia, Illinois. The city of Batavia broke the news in an announcement on Facebook.

City of Batavia, Facebook[/caption]How big is this screen? The Emagine YouTube channel listed the screen as 94 feet wide by 40 feet tall. This is a massive movie experience.

Since Batavia is basically the Chicago area, this would provide an epic movie option next time you road trip to the Windy City.

I could not find an expected completion date for this huge new screen, but Batavia, Illinois shared the city council details including blueprints and designs for what this theater will eventually be. Only one thing is certain and that's the fact that there's never been a screen this large in Illinois ever before.
