Gingerbread Contest Creates A Village in Hannibal
Combine your architectural talents and your construction skills, add a dash of creativity and a whole sleigh-load of treats and enter your gingerbread house to determine who’s tops. The Mark Twain Museum in Hannibal is accepting your gingerbread creations now until 5 p.m. on December 12.
When you visit Hannibal for Living Windows and the Victorian Festival of Christmas on Saturday, Dec. 12 you can cast your vote for People’s Choice Award Winner. The gingerbread houses are on display in the lobby of the Mark Twain Boyhood Home on historic Main Street.
Enter your Gingerbread House design in one of three categories. Children’s Division is up to age 12, adult ages 13 and over or the Gingerbread House kit category. If you enter a kit, it must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
Gingerbread Houses will be on display to the public in the Museum Gallery window. People’s Choice voting will be held during Living Windows on Saturday, December 12th between 5:00 and 8:00 pm. The Winners will be announced on Monday, December 14th and will receive either a County Market or Walmart Gift Card valued at $50 to $100. Click here for entry details
