Famous Diner in Bounty Commercial Being Moved to Missouri

It's the diner everyone who watched TV in the 1970's knew even if they didn't know exactly where it was. Yes, the diner where Rosie showed everyone why Bounty was "the quicker picker upper" that originally was born in New Jersey is now incoming to the middle of Missouri.

I got wind of this when I saw a video shared by 13 On Your Side about Rosie's Diner moving. This is what Rosie's Diner now looks like on the outside.

Inside, it looked like this when Rosie was selling paper towels in the 1970's. When this politician was talking to one of the customers, you know a spill was coming.

Fortunately, Rosie was coming to the rescue with a Bounty paper towel of course.

According to the 13 On Your Side report, Rosie's Diner is being moved from its most recent location in Rockford, Michigan to mid-Missouri. The location will reportedly be in Missouri between Columbia and Fulton. The signs are moving now and the rest of the diner will follow during the spring months of 2024 as it has been sold to a couple there.

From what I can tell, it looks like Rosie's Diner has been closed for at least a couple of years with a movement on social media trying to create support to reopen it. That effort appears to be successful, but not in the way most probably imagined. Instead of being a staple in its original New Jersey location or it's last stop in Michigan, Rosie's Diner is Missouri bound. Now, I wonder what paper towels they'll use there?
