Here are the details on the cancellation of the 2020 Endless Summer Car Cruise...

Summer time in America means classic car cruises, but with the rise of COVID-19 cases in the Tri-States even those have to be put on pause. The classic car group called the Tri-State Lugnuts Car Club hosts an annual "Endless Summer Car Cruise" last years was one of my favorite events I went to, it was at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy. Well the 2020 version of the Endless Summer Car Cruise has been canceled.

On the Tri-State Lugnuts Car Club Facebook page they made the announcement about the cancellation saying...

"The Tri-State Lugnut’s mission for the last 20 years has been to support our local veterans through fundraising and donations for our Illinois Veterans Home resident’s activity fund. Due to COVID-19 and restrictions not allowing gatherings over 50 people on state-owned property, and safety/health concerns for our IVH residents, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Endless Summer Car Show."

They go on to talk about an actual cruise, where social distancing is easy to do, that will take place on Sept. 13th, for more details on that and to read the entire post about canceling the Endless Summer Car Cruise, CLICK HERE.

It's a shame that this big event that raises money for the Illinois Veterans Home had to be canceled, but peoples health and safety are too important, however the amazing people at the Tri-State Lugnuts Car Club are still raising money for donations and doing smaller events throughout the summer to raise money for the Illinois Veterans Home, to learn how you can help support them and their mission follow the Tri-State Lugnuts Car Club on Facebook by clicking here.
