Ben & Jerry's is making desserts specifically for dogs!

Being a dog owner is the absolute best! Dogs are such amazing companions, and as I look back on my life, especially this past year, it would be really hard to imagine my life without my dachshund Murphy. Murphy is my right hand man who goes everywhere, and does everything with me, and whenever there are scraps of healthy "human" food left on the plate Murphy always gets a taste, except for dessert. I never let Murphy lick the ice cream bowl when I'm done because I know all that sugar and fat isn't good for him. Well the geniuses at Ben & Jerry's are changing all that...

According to the Detroit Free Press (to see the article click here!) Ben & Jerry's is releasing a line of desserts specifically for dogs! In the article they say...

"The new ice cream line kicks off with two flavors: Pontch's Mix and Rosie's Batch named after employees’ dogs. Pontch is a French bulldog and Rosie is a rescue dog of mixed heritage. Ben & Jerry’s Vermont headquarters is a dog-friendly workplace where there are often up to 40 dogs in the office at any given time...Retail prices for individual treats start at $2.99 for 4-ounce cups. Multipacks with four, 4-ounce cups range from $4.99 to $7.99. You can order them now at benandjerry.com or look for them at some grocery stores, big box retailers, and pet stores nationwide."
