Heartwarming VIDEO: Blind Missouri Woman Adopts Blind Dog

I wish I had moments like this to share every day of my life. There's a new video of a blind Missouri woman who just found her perfect companion: a blind lap dog needing a home.

I was able to confirm from King5.com that this woman is from Gladstone, Missouri. They reported that she's 90 years old and her name is Donna James and that's she's always wanted a lap dog to spend her older years with. The Instagram post says the dogs name is Mocha. Mocha is a blind Chihuahua. There are several family members that live in the home where Donna lives to make sure that she and her new best friend will be taken care of.

My family has 3 pets we've adopted from our local Missouri rescue and we wish we had room to adopt more. Rescues always seem to appreciate the affection and attention and I love the fact that this Missouri woman and her family have the heart to do the same. The world could use a lot more moments like this in my not-so-humble opinion.
