Confirmed – Target Coming to Quincy in Old K-Mart Location
It's been confirmed that what many had hoped would happen is really happening. Target is coming to Quincy and will be located in the old K-Mart building.

Remember a couple months ago when we showed you some curious Target job opportunities in Quincy? Hate to say I told you so, but I told you so. Congrats to Muddy River News on the scoop. they are reporting today that Target has acquired the old K-Mart location for $5 million dollars. Muddy River News confirmed this news from Illinois Real Estate Transfer Declaration forms.
As of now, there's no official declaration by Target and no word on when they might open, but it looks solid that Quincy is finally getting a Target.
Since this is a developing story, I will update once there is something new to share.
