Hector Anchondo to Put Wraps on ‘Blues in The District’ Friday
From the category of "Where did the Summer go?", the final Blues of the District concert of the year will be held Friday at Washington Park. Hector Anchondo will perform in the season finale which will put the wraps on season number 19.
Anchondo, who was born in Omaha, Nebraska and grew up in Salem, Missouri, will wrap up the season after performances from Katy Guillen & the Girls, Dave Weld and the Imperial Flames, Studebaker John & the Hawks , Reverend Raven & the Chain Smokin’ Altar Boys and Soul Shaker this summer.
As usual, Friday's concert from 5:30 to 9:30 is free thanks to grants and funding from the general public. Food is available for purchase, but you are welcomed to bring your own as well as your own beverages. And remember, "My Rock” is off limits! See you Friday.
