USA Today Readers Say America’s Best Dog Bar is in Missouri

I would like to have been in the room when this idea was first presented. A place to take your dog where you can also sample tasty brews. That is how the concept of a dog bar was born and now USA Today readers say the best ones in America are in Missouri.

My understanding is that the USA Today reader's poll began with nominations for the best dog bars in America and then their audience voted for weeks. With all the votes counted, dog bars in Missouri came in at the top of the list.

The winner is Bar K in both St. Louis and Kansas City, Missouri that the USA Today poll says "offers a spacious dog park alongside a full-service restaurant and bar".

Bar K locations in Missouri beat out other dog bars in Colorado, Maryland, Washington State and other top 10 finalists that also specialize in dogs and suds. It's quite the combination.

So, if you want to sip brews in a place that will also entertain your pet, many say there are no places better than the ones you'll find in Missouri. Cheers.
