Blues in the District will be Virtual once again, live from the Washington Theater!

Obviously one of the biggest changes to Summer 2020 (and possibly Fall of 2020) is the inability to gather in large groups due to the coronavirus. Well the great people at The District don't want the coronavirus to completely shut down one of the best traditions in all of Quincy, Blues in the District! So they are moving it to a Virtual setting once again in June, the Friday, June 19th Blues in the District will be officially the "Virtual Blues From the District" (because you wont be "IN" the district to watch the performance) you can watch it virtually from the comfort of your couch, or heck even in your own outdoor space!

On the Facebook event page for the "Blues From the District" they say...

"Mark your calendar for Virtual Blues From The District!
Friday, June 19 | 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Catfish Willie...Streaming live on both The District Facebook and Youtube from the historic Washington Theater.
Tune in and post pictures of your Blues experience!  Giveaways during the live show!"

I for one am really glad that The District is find a way to keep Blues in the District alive in 2020, I was really looking forward to my second Summer living in Quincy and Blues was one of my absolute favorite things about my first Summer here. While it certainly isn't the same as sitting in beautiful Washington Park with a cooler filled with Miller Lite, I definitely will be tuning in from my couch that night!
