$2 Billion Dollar Theme Park is Coming to Route 66 Near Missouri
There are big plans in the works for a massive new theme park that's set to be located along Route 66 right across the Missouri border. Developers are investing an incredible $2 billion dollars into the project.
I saw this great news shared by Yahoo Finance. It's the announcement of American Heartland Theme Park and Resort by the Mansion Entertainment Group. It will be built in the Grand Lake area of northeast Oklahoma quite literally right across the border from Missouri. It's only around 130 miles west of Branson, Missouri.
The park will feature different themed areas as visitors walk through the front gates.
There will be a Great Plains area and also one that almost looks like a northeastern lighthouse.
It will also feature a huge 4-star hotel along with many other amenities.
Attraction Magazine shared an announcement video from the developers to give you an idea of what they envision.
The Yahoo Finance article says that there will be a huge RV park and cabin area that will open in 2025 with the rest of the amusement park and resort set to open in the summer of 2026.
It's a huge vision for a massive entertainment facility. Now we wait as the developers get all the approvals needed to bring to reality what could be one of the biggest entertainment areas in the Midwest and it will be right along historic Route 66.
