ADM Quincy Expanding Refining and Storage Capacity
One of Quincy’s manufacturing mainstays is expanding.
Officials with ADM announced Monday they plan on investing about $25-million dollars to expand refining and storage capacity at its crush and refining facility in Quincy.
In a press release, officials say the project will fully align the location’s refining capabilities with its crush capacity and allow for greater flexibility in meeting the needs of ADM’s food, biofuel and industrial customers.
The expanded capacity in Quincy is expected to be online by the first quarter of next year.
ADM also announced its plan to spend $350-million dollars to build North Dakota’s first-ever soybean crushing plant and refinery to meet fast-growing demand from food, feed, industrial and biofuel customers.
