I just love this time of year, you get to open the windows and air out the house, decorate for fall/Halloween, and it's the season right before my favorite time of year Christmas (and yes, I already have a tree up). Besides all of that, I love getting out and exploring pumpkin patches, corn mazes, and spending time with my girls. So, here's a list of fall bucket list items that I suggest doing this year before Mother nature brings on snow (yuck). These are simple and fun, no need to spend a ton of money on these items.

Fall Bucket List

Paint Pinecones
Go to a Play (QCT will be hosting Junie B. Jones Is Not A Crook)
Make a handprint turkey
Make a haunted house
Make caramel apples
Go to a homecoming parade
Go on a fall foliage bike ride
Take a scenic drive
Host a fall party
Have a family game night outside around the firepit
Tell ghost stories
Plants some mums
Fly a kite
Check out a fall book from your public library
Have a picnic
Read a book outside
Have a campfire
Sleep in a tent in your backyard
Make s'mores
Go on a hayride
Go to a local pumpkin patch
Go to a fall festival (many still to come in the Tri-States)
Drink Hot Chocolate on a cool night outside
Make your Halloween costume
Bob for apples
Have a pumpkin carving contest
Attend a High School football game
Eat candy corn (I dislike candy corn so much, but hey if it's your thing go for it)
Decorate your trick-or-treat bag(s)
Paint your pumpkins
Make a fall wreath (I need to learn how to do this)
Jump in a pile of leaves (now this is fun)
Drink hot cider (or a pumpkin spiced latte)
Bake pumpkin bread
Go through a corn maze

These are just some ideas that came to mind that I enjoy doing with my family every fall. So get out there and enjoy this weather we are about to have because this is the midwest and you know that weather can change with the snap of your fingers.
