Every November the Quincy Exchange Club displays the Field of Honor at the Illinois Veteran's Home.  The display of 1000 American Flags is set up for Veteran's Day on November 11 and there is no cost to view the display.

Thousands have seen the display over the past two years but few people are aware that the Field of Honor is complemented by four other days out of the year when the Exchange Club conducts its Flags of Honor program. The Quincy Exchange Club is looking for people interested in having one of those 1000 American Flags placed on their property.

Subscribers throughout the city will have a flag placed in their yard after sunrise by the Quincy Senior High School Football Team and removed just before sunset.  For $30, the flag will be placed in the subscriber’s yard on Memorial Day, Flag Day, 4th of July and Labor Day.

All money raised by the Exchange Club, as always, stays in the community to help the Exchange Club's various projects throughout the year.  To sign up for one of the Field of Honor flags to be placed on your property during the year, go to www.quincyexchangeclub.org.
