What Is The Polar Plunge?

The Polar Plunge is a unique opportunity to support Special Olympics athletes.

These athletes do this by taking a dip in frigid waters in the middle of winter. In 2016, the Polar Plunge will challenge thousands of brave jumpers at 21 locations across Illinois.It is a great way for everyone, individuals, organizations and businesses to get involved in supporting Special Olympics Illinois.

Thanks to the help of the participants and fans the incentive prizes for this year's plunge have been finalized. Everyone who raises the minimum of $100 will receive a navy blue hooded sweatshirt. This will be held at Upper Moorman Park in Quincy, Illinois.
