What Are the Most Dangerous Intersections in Quincy?
When I first came to Quincy as a college freshman, a professor gave us newbies an abridged guide to driving in Quincy. It went something like this…
“If numbers are getting lower, you’re going to the river. If numbers are getting higher, you’re going to Walmart. Streets to the north are trees. Streets to the south are states and presidents. Drive slowly. And stay off of Broadway.”
I actually forgot most of the other things he taught us that semester, which is exactly the reason this blog is about dangerous intersections in Quincy and NOT the French Revolution.
But I digress. I got to wondering exactly which intersections in Quincy are the worst when it comes to traffic accidents? So I reached out to Susan at the Quincy Police Department to find out if Broadway is truly as bad as it’s made out to be.
And the answer is…yep. It sure the hell is.
So without further ado, I present the 13 WORST intersections in Quincy in terms of accidents in 2016 (you might notice a little pattern here).

While technically not an intersection, Walmart at 5211 Broadway is the fourth most dangerous site for traffic accidents in town. Stay safe, bargain shoppers. Stay safe.
