Watch a Bear Run Off After Being Spotted Near Rolla, Missouri
It's barely June and there's already reports of bears in Missouri. New video shows one of these apex predators running off after being spotted somewhere near Rolla.
Fox 2 out of St. Louis shared this short video showing this young bear making a break for the woods. Their video description says this is somewhere in Phelps County which means it's not far from Rolla.
We recently shared the interactive map shared by the Missouri Department of Conservation which shows where bears have been seen recently plus it allows you to make your own reports. You can go ahead and put a thumb tack over Phelps County since they are now a hotbed of bear activity. Slight exaggeration there.
This is not unexpected at all. The state of Missouri has warned us that we're likely to continue to see more and more bears. This new video out of the Rolla area proves their prediction has come true.
