Vehicle is Exploding in Quincy Culver’s Parking Lot
If you heard explosions in Quincy today, it's due to a vehicle that is parked in the Quincy Culver's parking lot.
UPDATE: Quincy Fire Department has fire out in the van and police are working on clearing debris from Broadway.
ORIGINAL STORY: Quincy police and fire departments just arrived and we'll update this story once we have details. Debris can be seen covering the eastbound lane of Broadway and the vehicle is still on fire.
There were several separate explosions which many mistook for sonic booms that rattled the 24th and Broadway area of Quincy. One of our team spoke to officials as the explosions were still ongoing and were told there was no one in the van when the explosions began. However, you can see metal debris from the van strewn across eastbound Broadway.
We will continue to update this story as we receive more details and information.
