For many people, there are few things in life more satisfying than a good burger. If you are of the opinion that they "don't make them like they used to", you can time travel to a burger place in St. Louis that truly hasn't changed since they started way back in 1957.

I saw Chuck-A-Burger in St. Louis get a shout out from Only In Your State in a recent article they shared. The outside of Chuck-A-Burger is the same as it was in 1957. They still make burgers like they did back in the 50's. They don't even have a microphone inside. The waitress just yells out the order to the cook.

All Menus has the lineup of what you can still order there. The burger they're known for is The Original Chuck-A-Burger with Single Chuck. It's the "chuck sauce" that gives their burgers an original taste and no one's talking about what the ingredients are.

As you might expect for a burger joint that is stubbornly holding onto 1957, you won't find a website for them. Yes, Chuck-A-Burger does have a Facebook page, but that's about it. Locals love this place so much that their jackets and t-shirts are a consistent seller on Ebay.

The menu at Chuck-A-Burger has remained almost constant since 1957 with only the prices changing. Still, it's a food throwback that thankfully doesn't look like it's gonna be any different for years moving forward. If you're a fan of things that don't change, you'll likely love them.
