
Three Injured in Sinkhole at Perry
Three young Perry Missouri residents are recovering from injuries after an SUV drove into a sinkhole. The Missouri Highway Patrol says the vehicle driven by 18-year-old Evan Woodhurst hit the sinkhole on Washington Lane in Perry at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle went airborne and came to rest on a culvert in the sinkhole. Woodhurst sustained minor injuries.
Two passengers sustained injury, 18-year-old Bradley Branham of Perry sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment. 20-year-old Vanessa Davis of Perry was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital and then airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment of serious injuries.
