The Du Quoin State Fair Opens Friday

If you considered the 2018 “Fair Season” as being over when the Illinois, Missouri and Iowa State Fairs concluded last weekend, you would be wrong. In Illinois there are actually two State Fairs.  One in Springfield and one in Du Quoin and the 2018 Du Quoin State Fair will open this Friday and runs through Labor Day Monday, September 3rd.

The Du Quoin State Fair grandstand schedule is full each night. Below is a rundown on the grandstand schedule:

August 25:   Blackberry Smoke, The Steel Woods

August 26:   Cheap Trick

August 27:   Dueling Pianos International

August 28:   Brothers Osborne w/Kendell Marvel

August 29:   Harness Racing

August 30:   Ryan Cabrera, O-Town, Aaron Carter, Tyler Hilton

August 31:   Buck Cherry, P.O.D., Lit, Alien Ant Farm

Sept. 1:       Phil Vassar

Sept. 2:       USAC Dirt Car Racing

Sept. 3:       ARCA Car Racing
