Every town in America has its go-to spot for some delicious Chinese Food. So it should come as no surprise that the Best Chinese Food Restaurant in the State of Missouri is not in Kansas City or St. Louis, but it is in a small town in the heart of the Show-Me State.

Missouri's Best 2022 Awards gave out an award for the Best Chinese Restaurant in the entire state, and the winner is a place called Fortune Palace in little Sedalia, Missouri.

Sedalia, Missouri is a town of about 21,000 people according to Wikipedia, and is known best for being the home of the Missouri State Fair.

Now sadly Missouri's Best Awards don't give us any context as to what makes Fortune Palace the best Chinese Restaurant in Missouri. So I went to their website to learn more about this diamond in the rough, and the reviews on the restaurant are fantastic. One reviewer said...

"We love fortune palace! Their portions are big and easy to share! Everything is always top notch taste wise. Love their crab Rangoon!"

The menu looks incredible as well, they have items such as Egg Drop Soup, Shrimp Lo Mein, Kung Pao Chicken, and Peanut Butter Chicken. To see the full menu for yourself just check out the Fortune Palace website by clicking here!

Is this place the best Chinese food restaurant in Missouri? I don't know I have never eaten there, but it must be pretty special to have won Missouri's Best Award, and there is just something about small-town restaurants that always seem to surprise you. Next time I'm in Sedalia I know what I am getting for lunch.
