Tickets to the Missouri State Fair Pepsi Grandstand concert series go on sale tomorrow morning starting at 9 a.m. through Ticketmaster. All other tickets, including auto races, tractor pulls, State Fair Arena events, the Governor’s Ham Breakfast and $8 advanced gate admission, will go on sale starting at noon on Monday, June 26.
Some have fond memories of something very unique that took place in Sedalia, Missouri in the 1970s. Others would prefer to forget it ever happened. The Ozark Music Festival was held in July 1974 at the Missouri State Fairgrounds, and it was basically the Show-Me State's version of Woodstock. The Missouri State Fair is now accepting entries on Instagram in a new Farm Selfie “Felfie” Contest. The contest, sponsored by AgriMissouri, encourages entrants to take a “felfie,” a photograph one has taken of oneself with farm animals, around farm equipment and/or on the farm.
Discounted gate admission and carnival ride wristband tickets are now available for the 2015 Missouri State Fair at Missouri Break Time Convenience Stores, Orscheln Farm and Home Stores and Walgreens.

The 2015 Missouri State Fair will take place August 13-23 in Sedalia. Headlining at the State Fair Grandstand on Saturday, August 22 will be The Fray and Andy Grammer.
Two years ago I wrote a scathing article criticizing the government for cancelling all of the Air Force Thunderbirds and the Navy Blue Angels performances in 2013. Well, after that year off due to government cutbacks, the Air Force Thunderbirds and the Navy Blue Angels resumed their high flying acrobatic shows all over the United States last year and are ready again this year.
