The Hannibal Jaycees held Rock for Tot’s this fall and raised $453.97 and with outside donations made personally by members were able to present a check for $550.00.
It’s a Christmas in July Bowl-a-Thon at Tangerine Bowl in Quincy this Sunday for Toys-for-Tots. More teams are needed with two sessions, a 2 pm session for families, and 5 pm session for people 16 and older.
Quincy Mall is preparing for a busy November to kick off the holidays. With the arrival of Santa Claus, Toys for Tots, firetruck rides, and Black Friday specials, there's a lot going on at the mall.
The Tri-State Lugnuts Cruise-In Night at the Quincy Mall will be held on Saturday, June 14. It will be drive-in movie night with the movie 'Snake & Mongoose' being shown. There will be activities for the whole family beginning at 6:30 in the front of the Quincy Mall near Sears. All proceeds will be going to Toys for Tots.
Toys for Tots was founded in 1947, and has gone on to become one of the most well-respected holiday charities in the nation. Toys for Tots has given away millions of toys to millions of children in need. In 2013, several places in Hannibal are drop-off locations for the popular toy drive.
