A food manufacturing company in Illinois has suddenly declared bankruptcy, but it's apparently good news, too.

A new ranking that claims Illinois is the new gun capital of the Midwest. Could it be true?

They are being described as the fastest-growing snack and food brand in the United States and that growth will include a brand new facility in the middle of Missouri in 2025 bringing with it 250 jobs.

I don't know about you, but I'm pretty happy when I find that I had $50 that I didn't know about. The concept of $5 billion dollars is beyond my math comprehension. That's the number that a car maker is reportedly investing in a Illinois plant.

I remember when this Illinois town was one of the better ones in the state. Unfortunately, you won't find many trying to make that case anymore as it's now ranked among the top 10 places in America that were destroyed by outsourcing jobs.

This has been happening practically in my backyard for decades and I had no idea the massive firepower being manufactured in Illinois and loaded into US Army weapons. Few states can match Illinois' output when it comes to supplying the military.
