Cubs

It's very much in fashion to give Illinois a hard time these days and some of that grief is probably deserved. But, I would argue that there are at least 5 types of people who would legit really love living in the Land of Lincoln and I'm not even being snarky about this.

Bear sightings are on the rise in Missouri and the state wants you to let them know if you have an encounter with one of these predators. It's so easy to file a report, you can do it in way less than a minute even if you take your time.

It's common to find a lot of different things in Missouri trees. Apples, walnuts and if you're one Missouri family, a bunch of black bears as their new video shows.

It's one of the largest bear families I've seen in the Midwest. A trail cam video shows 5 black bears roaming the woods late at night while 1 of the cubs tried to eat the camera.

A new piece of data has come out, and I believe that data gives us a real clue as to which sports fanbase is the most annoying in the Land of Lincoln.

I think most of us who've been to a Major League Baseball game held onto the hope that at some point we'd get a chance to catch a foul ball, or better yet, a home run shot.

The St. Louis Cardinals are lower on the preseason MLB FOX Sports ranking then I expected.

The Cardinals and Cubs have a better chance to make the playoffs this year, let me explain....

Chicago Cubs' MVP-finalist (and soon to be MVP winner) Kris Bryant and David "Grandpa" Ross continued their national TV tour with an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. And being the ever-accommodating and kind-hearted host that she is, Ellen had gifts ready for the World Series champs.

I started noodling with this blog last Tuesday, the morning after my Cardinals suffered a crushing 15-2 defeat at the hands of the last place Cincinnati Reds. I had hoped I wouldn’t have to publish it.
