Ryan Hall Says Illinois Facing Snow Surge, Ice Danger
I am a fan of internet weather personality Ryan Hall. He has a very down-to-earth way of sharing weather news even if it's awful. That would be a good description of what he's just said about the upcoming winter months for Illinois as he says the north will see much more snow while the southern part of the state has a big ice risk.
Ryan Hall, Y'all on YouTube has just issued the prediction for what he believes will be the amount of snow each part of America gets
I'll summarize what he said about Illinois. Ryan thinks that the weather pattern that's developing will mean much more snow for the areas north of I-80.
For Chicago, specifically, he says that you can expect lake effect snow will go wild as temperatures are a few degrees above normal which means the Windy City is really gonna get a ton of snow.
Southern Illinois is not exempt from a potentially nasty winter as Ryan predicts the possibility of severe ice events that could be problematic once the cold weather arrives for good.
I think it's safe to say that most already follow Ryan Hall especially for his sometimes wall-to-wall coverage of severe weather, he's one of the easiest subscribe recommendations I can make. You'll be hard-pressed to find anyone online that delivers more consistent and not overly sensational weather content.
