Missouri Plant to Close – 105 Will Lose Their Jobs

We're barely over one month into 2025 yet another Missouri manufacturing facility has announced a closure that will result in 105 losing their jobs.

The state of Missouri Jobs Site shows a new WARN notice alerting everyone that a plant is closing. It's this Royal Canin North America facility located in Rolla, Missouri. Their official Royal Canin website indicates they are a pet food manufacturer.

The WARN notice says that this plant will close this year and the job eliminations will be twofold. 85 workers will be let go on April 18, 2025 while the remaining 20 workers will be released at the end of the year.

This Rolla, Missouri plant will close forever on December 31, 2025. The document submitted to the state of Missouri does say that employees can seek employment at other Royal Canin facilities, but if they do not, they will be jobless.
