A company has notified regulators in the state of Missouri that a facility will be closing which will result in job loss for all of the workers there beginning soon.

The Missouri Jobs site has sent out an alert that an employer will be laying off 51 employees starting in January. They shared a WARN notice submitted by Ascension Care Management Insurance Holdings in St. Louis. Here's part of their statement from the WARN notice:

"After extended discernment, Ascension Care Management Insurance Holdings (“ACM”)
has made the decision to outsource health plan benefit administration services to a third-party administrator, which will result in ACM ceasing its operations and permanently eliminating all positions related to those operations beginning January 8, 2027...The address of the employment site where the plant closing will occur is 4600 Edmundson Rd, Saint Louis, MO 63134-3806. ACM presently expects that employment terminations will commence January 8, 2027 and proceed through January 15, 2027 and is estimated to impact a total of 51 employees."
