$5K Up for Grabs as 20 Bands Compete Saturday at Quincy Raceways

If you're interesting in spending your day enjoying some epic bands, might want to make Quincy Raceways your destination this Saturday as more than 20 bands will compete for a $5,000 prize.

Quincy Raceways shared info about their Battle of the Bands competition which will get rolling around 2pm Saturday afternoon, May 31, 2025. This was their latest update on their Facebook/Meta page.

I was checking the latest weather forecast and it looks like Quincy will be dry and hot so no worries about rain messing up a great day of music. I hope I haven't jinxed the event by declaring that storms won't cause problems. Don't take that as a dare, Illinois weather.

The word is that each band will play for 20 minutes and the crowd vote decides which band wins the $5K.

I haven't seen a list of the bands that will be competing yet, but it looks like the day will easily be filled with music. Lots and lots of loud music which is just the way we like it. Would be a great idea to follow Quincy Raceways on Facebook for updates and new details as they are shared.
